NOLAN JAMES BRIDEN

Of Irish and Blackfeet heritage, Nolan was city raised. At OSP, he is committed to building a healthy community through a mix of activities, including his work as a certified personal trainer and restorative justice facilitator, as well as director of Red Road to Transitions (a program that assists Indigenous people in their reentry). Nolan is an active member in the Lakota Oyate-Ki Culture Club, the Asian Pacific Family Club, and Narcotics Anonymous. He enjoys drumming and dancing and chilling with his brothers, especially when they are eating Kashi’s famous rice bowl, any dish Bro Charles makes, and of course, Cousin J’s off-the-hook burritos. He has served fourteen years of a twenty-five-year sentence.
